About

Sarah Swann is a multi-disciplinary artist from Utica, New York, working primarily in painting and printmaking. Her dream-like compositions often blend realism with surreal juxtapositions, exploring the intersection between the inner world, our physical environment, and collective memory.

Swann’s professional background spans work in healthcare, community organizing, art, and advocacy. Alongside her studio practice, she is the founder of Utica Creative Reuse, a nonprofit dedicated to salvaging materials for art and fostering community through creative engagement. Since 2015, she has created a diverse body of work in acrylic painting, block printing, found-object art, and digital illustration.
